Infocouncil's Publishing Module
Infocouncil provides three ways in which agendas and minutes can be published.
Hard Copy
Printed reports are still the most popular medium and many councils choose to distribute their agendas and minutes this way. For
the general public, copies are usually made available in various Council locations.
Infocouncil offers the standard Windows print facilities for this purpose.
Email
Infocouncil is able to automatically email agendas and minutes to a list of recipients,
typically councillors, senior managers and other key stakeholders. Recipients are
able to work in their local copies and enter notes and highlights. Searching is
also available within a document.
Internet
More and more councils are choosing to publish their agendas and minutes on the
web. Infocouncil provides a function for selecting agendas and minutes for instant,
automatic publication on the web.
Closed committee reports are published in a secure area and are only accessible
by users with a valid user name and password. We have provided a scratch pad facility
so councillors can make notes within web documents for their own use.
By integrating the agendas and minutes with web search engines, access to information
can be improved immensely.
Ratepayers who have internet access are served well by this method of publication.
