Infocouncil's Reports Module
Microsoft Word templates are used for staff members to create their reports. Our
templates are protected to ensure a consistent format for all reports. Individual
content within the body of a report is open for users to take advantage of all the
sophisticated publishing features offered by Word.
We have developed a 'clean paste' function to control the formatting of multiple
documents within a report. We guarantee the integrity of your report no matter what
you paste into it: numbered lists, bullet points, different styles. This is no small
matter, as any experienced Word user will vouch.
Here are some of the other features offered in reports:
- Attach electronic files like images, plans, spreadsheets, documents etc.
- Attach hard copy reports.
- Defer reports for a later meeting.
- Refer reports to committee.
- Mark reports as confidential according to the relevant Local Government Act and
automatically insert the relevant text from the Act into the report.
- Pick from a list of your own bye-laws to include the relevant text in a report.
This is particularly useful for DA's.
Once a report is finished it is available for review and approval by a user with
the appropriate security settings. It is now ready to be included in the agenda
for a meeting.
